About Mazen Alumran Consulting Engineers MACE

MAZEN AHMED AL UMRAN, the sole owner of Mazen Al Umran Consulting Engineers (MACE), formed the Consultancy firm in January 1985 after working for seven years as a Civil/Structural Engineer with two International Contracting Companies. This experience gained in the contracting sector has helped him to establish himself as one of the leading consultants in Bahrain.

The firm's license from the Committee for Organizing Engineering Professional Practice is Class A/A in the Civil and Architectural disciplines. Also has MEP division to take care of the Mechanical , Electrical & Plumbing needs of the project.

Over the years, MACE has closely worked with reputable international firms to produce some of the island's and overseas' iconic landmarks. Some of these associations are mentioned below:

Association with International Consulting Engineering Firms:

1985-1989 Partner-MACE in association with VBA.

  • Local co-ordination and overall Project Director for the Administration Building for BAPCO, Value BD 3 million
  • Local co-ordination & overall Project Director for the BATELCO headquarters building at Hamala,Value BD.12.5 million

1988 to 1997 Partner-MACE in association with GIBB

  • Local co-ordination and overall project
  • Director for survey of Mercury House, BATELCO.

Associated with M/s. Binnie, Black & Veatch International Ltd

  • in the Project ‘Replacement / Upgradation of Field (Zallaq) water net work for BAPCO – Project cost – BD 1 million and for all new ventures where the two companies specialised expertise will benefit the project.

Associating with M/s. Shadid Engineering Consultants, Dubai

  • as their local consultant for the Project Almoayyed Tower, Bahrain. It is the first 47 storey high rise building and the tallest in Bahrain. Project cost – BD 22 million.
