The company has an impressive track record of constructing high-rise buildings, malls, multi-storied apartment buildings, luxury villas, office blocks, warehouses, specialized showrooms etc. It also provides customized services that include interior decoration, landscaping, pool construction, carpentry, steel fabrication and fixings. The other allied companies in the Group provide services in various segments like electro-mechanical contracting, industrial cleaning, scaffolding, security services, elevators & escalators, passenger transportation, home deliveries, cash and valuables handling/processing etc. Simplex-Almoayyed is the joint-venture company in the Group which undertakes piling and base foundation contracts in Bahrain.

The Company started its business in 1982 in the name of Almoayyed Air Conditioning, as a division of Y. K. Almoayyed & Sons. Initially the business was focused on maintenance and repair of home appliances, air-conditioners etc. Under the leadership of Mr. M. T. Mathews, the company endeavored certain prestigious HVAC projects like Naim Health Centre, Public Security Health Centre, Arad Health Centre, Girls’ Secondary School at Hamad Town, Gulf International Convention Centre, Gulf International Bank, Almoayyed Tower and the Formula-1 racing circuit to name a few. Thereafter, the business grew successfully to new levels by undertaking new MEP projects.

Having proved successful in MEP contracting, the company took another step of diversity to civil construction for executing projects on a turnkey basis. Later in the year 1999, ACG was established to bring all these companies under one umbrella. From then on, ACG expanded its activities and grew steadily. In the year 2002, Mrs. Hala Al Moayyed, the youngest daughter of Mr. Farouk Al Moayyed, Chairman of Y. K. Almoayyed Group, joined ACG after completing her Business Management studies at Georgetown University. She is a brilliant visionary like her father and is keen on introducing innovative business ideas. ACG is the first contracting company on the island to introduce ERP business solutions. With her active involvement, the company’s reputation continued to flourish and many internationally reputed companies associated with the Group.
