Development of Wadi Hanifa

Peace, one of the region's premier architectural and engineering firms, has been tasked by the Diriyah Gate Development Authority to design and supervise the construction of a 6-kilometer road that would pass through Wadi Hanifa Park.

Pace will assist the Diriyah Gate Development Authority with a key initiative in the Kingdom that will help them realize their objective of transforming the historically significant Diriyah into a global gathering place, according to the agreement.

The reconstruction of Wadi Hanifa Park, a green belt valley spanning 2,359,406 square meters on the western and southern borders of the area, is one of the program's four key development projects. The citizens of Riyadh require a lot of “green vision.”

Diriyah Gate, one of the Kingdom's most ambitious projects, aims to restore the historic district as a cultural heritage project that, once completed, will boast a range of world-class cultural, entertainment, retail, hospitality, educational, office, and residential areas, including more than 64 billion Saudi riyals ($17 billion). The project comprises several outdoor courtyards as well as a 3-kilometer cliff affording views across the historic Wadi Hanifa. It also contains 20 hotels, a variety of museums, a lively retail hub, and more than 100 dining locations.
