Iconic Tower
The iconic tower that is under construction in the commercial district of the New Administrative Capital has 60 floors, with 11 floors added since October 2020 to bring the total to 60. The tower's height is expected to reach 400 metres, with 79 floors, which means that 19 floors remain to complete Africa's tallest tower.
The distinctive tower is one of 20 prospective buildings in the region that are being built at a cost of $3 billion, eight of which have already been finished. The project is a joint venture between the New Urban Communities Authority and the Chinese corporation CSCEC.
