Olympic City in New Cairo project
The city was built by the most recent international standards and technical specifications, in consultation with the relevant international sports federations, and it features a 90,000-seat international stadium as well as two indoor halls with capacities of 15,000 and 8,000 spectators, respectively.
It also has integrated Olympic sports complexes for swimming, equestrian, tennis, and squash competitions, among other disciplines.
Al-Sisi emphasized the importance of completing the projects under construction in the new capital on time and to the highest standards and specifications while adhering to all anti-Covid-19 measures to safeguard worker safety.
