ROCKAL SUPREME FIBER is a mineral fiber formed by molten non- combustible and inorganic volcanic basalt rocks that treated with another natural additives to produce of molten with high content of stable silica composition.

Description

ROCKAL SUPREME PIPE FIBER is a mineral fiber formed by spinning or drawing molten non- combustible and inorganic volcanic basalt rocks that treated with another natural additives to produce of molten with high content of stable silica composition. These fibers are processed with a thermoset and non-combustible resin binder to shape pipes confirming to EN 13162 & ASTM C 553 & ASTM C 665 & ASTM 592-12. It is preformed porous and flexible or semi-rigid glass fibers pipe with very good performance on thermal, acoustic and fire insulation.

Application

Supreme Pipe Section are used for:

  • Thermal insulation of industrial pipes, in a range of settings, central heating and solar energy installations
  • For the insulation against freezing and condensation of the pipes and for vibration 
  • Sound insulation of the pressure water pipes as well.

Facing

ROCKAL Supreme Pipes are available unfaced or faced to suit the application Aluminum fiber-glass facing (AFG) .The facing consists of a layer of aluminum foil laminated to a layer of glass fiber material,
usually fiberglass. The aluminum foil serves as a reflective surface, which helps to block the transfer of radiant heat and its also tear and fire resistance. The glass fiber layer, on the other hand, provides thermal insulation by trapping air pockets within its structure. Together, the aluminum foil and glass facing create an effective insulation product that reflects radiant heat away from the building and prevents heat from conducting through the material.
